Philanthropy: Bloodball

Started in 2002, Bloodball is one of Delta-Xi's Fall philanthropy events, which benefits the American Red Cross. Bloodball centers around a massive blood drive at the nearby Red Cross headquarters, and is followed by a fraternity and sorority sports tournament hosted by Lambda Chi at the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. Previously, Lambda Chi was able to rally over 200 individuals to donate blood (and money) over the course of six hours. The latest Bloodball event was held in Fall 2007.
